Sì, Viaggiare…

Questo topper l’ho scherzosamente battezzato con il titolo di una canzone di Lucio Battisti:  ‘Sì,  viaggiare…’ sia perchè il matrimonio è un enorme ‘sì’ sia perchè questi due sposi in particolare amano molto viaggiare. La loro torta nuziale non poteva che essere a forma di un piccola pigna di valige con in cima un topper che desideravano conservare per cui… eccolo realizzato in pasta sintetica! (Fimo).
The name I gave this topper is a Lucio Battisti’ song (Sì, Viaggiare) the song is not related to a marriage but ‘yes’ is the crucial word in a wedding and this couple love travelling a lot. For this reason their wedding cake was shaped as a stack of luggages and they wanted a topper they could preserve so I made it by polymer clay (Fimo)

Ogni dettaglio è stato personalizzato in base alle fotografie e descrizione che mi sono state inviate sia del vestito dello sposo che della sposa, la pasticceria mi ha fatto avere un campione del colore della pasta di zucchero della torta che mi è servito per armonizzare il colore della valigia del topper.
E’ un giorno importante… nulla va lasciato al caso 🙂
Every detail has been modeled according to the pictures and descriptions I received of the bride and groom dresses. The pastry shop sent me a sample of the fondant colour used for the wedding cake so I could prepare a polymer clay color for the topper luggage of the right tint.
Wedding day is one of the most important days in a life so everything must be perfect!
