The workshop is a 1:12 scale apple and cherry crust pie preparation table
The focus will be mainly on polymer clay techniques.

I am so happy my proposal for the Thursday April 9 workshop has been so well accepted that I agreed on offering a replica on Tuesday April 7 (at the moment a couple of spot are still avalible)

Students will create from scratch the most part of what you see in the workshop sample.
One of the few exceptions ready made will be a metal pan made by IGMA Artisan Silvia Cucchi… and we will use it too!
Useful information about polymer clay will be given. Polymer clay color mixing will be also explained to get the most realistic colors for your miniature food.

Everything needed (materials, tools and accessories) to create what you see in the picture is included into the kit that will be given each student.
Of course if a student wish, is free to bring his/her own basic set of tools (scissors, pointed tweezers, xacto knife, small paintbrush)
Fimo® polymer clay will be used in this workshop.

Don’t be afraid if you are a beginner because I will guide you step by step in making all this items so newbies are welcome!

As I’m used to do in my workshops the subject is just the mean to teach students tips and tricks that I gathered in nearly 40 years of handmade miniature making. Above all I love to teach techniques so these workshops are not just a simple kit assembling: students will create almost everything from scratch.
